An arm of one of our couches has become worn and torn from the activity of 4 dogs, but reupholstering would have required us to have movers come, take it to a reupholsterer, go without having a couch for an undefined amount of time, and possibly be told it wasn't worth being reupholstered. This is a SIGNIFICANTLY easier alternative! They fit perfectly! The cover on the arm that the dogs jump up on needs to be adjusted a lot, but the others stay on perfectly.
